This piece from the recent series ‘The Cave’ was inspired by my visit to the Mermaid Cave in Thung Nham, Ninh Binh province in Vietnam. I tried to capture the characteristic of the natural sharp edges of the cave and colourful artificial lighting inside it. It resulted in the abstracted representation of light playing with the nature.
