The Cave 2

The new piece from “the Cave” series is inspired by my recent visit to the Ninh Binh province in Vietnam. It is one of my favourite areas in the Northern region of the country, the countryside is stunning and the nature became my focus for this project. The natural sharp shapes found in the cave are highlighted and in place distorted by the addition of artificial lighting. The result is an abstracted representation of the cave capturing the interaction of light and form.
